Our Community Connections Program is here to help newcomers build meaningful relationships and feel at home in Pictou County. By connecting eligible newcomers with local volunteers and organizations, we offer valuable guidance for navigating life in Canada and settling into the community. Through these personalized connections, you’ll learn more about local culture, services, and daily life—helping to make your integration journey smoother and more enjoyable. 

Whether you have just arrived in Pictou County or have started to settle in but are still building your social network, our Community Connections volunteer matching program is here for you.
