This one day\, in-person workshop will be facilitated by Wendy Brookhouse\, Founder and Chief Strategist of Black Star Wealth and hosted by the Pictou County Partnership in collaboration with the Pictou County Chamber of Commerce. \nCrafted for entrepreneurs who are building businesses that may one day be sold to family\, employees or a third party\, this workshop will be practical\, interactive\, and informative. All workshop participants must agree to a confidentiality agreement as part of the registration process. \nThis workshop focuses not only on succession planning but also on helping owners structure their day-to-day operations\, implement effective systems\, and delegate tasks\, making their businesses more attractive to buyers. \nEvent Details\nDate: September 16\, 2025\nTime: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Lunch provided.\nLocation: Pictou County Partnership 151 Provost St\, Unit 202\, New Glasgow\nRegistration Fee: $125\nRegister by: September 9th\, 2025 \nThis workshop is partially funded by the Province of Nova Scotia and businesses participating in the workshop will be required to fill out a business information form\, participant form and post-workshop survey. Participants will receive over $500 in value from the workshop. \nThe workshop will include the following pre-workshop activities:\n• Complete an online value builder assessment (takes 15 minutes)\n• Book a 30 minute consultation with Wendy Brookhouse to review your value builder score \nAfter completing this registration\, you’ll receive an email with instructions to complete the assessment and book your appointment.
